THE COMPANY

The company is a partnership of Molecular Biologists each with extensive backgrounds in different areas of molecular analysis including Human DNA identification, Plant Genetics and Molecular Diagnostics. We are an innovative company that responded to the Biotechnology needs of the Caribbean using state of the art technology and standardized techniques. With new instrumentation added in 2008 including robots, the lab is now streamlined to allow for the efficient and high throughput pocessing of laboratory data.

MANAGEMENT

The company is headed by Dr. Wayne Mclaughlin, who is also the head of the Basic Medical Sciences at the University of the West Indies. Dr. Mclaughlin is a stalwart of academia whose main area of expertise is in Plant Molecular Biology and Virology. Dr. Mclaughlin has over 15 years of experience in academia and research..

Heading the operations of the company is Mr. Compton Beecher. Mr. Beecher has a Masters Degree in Biochemistry and over 14 years of experience in Human DNA identity specializing in Forensic Science.

The operations of the company is housed at the Molecular Biology Building in the department of Biochemistry at the University of the West Indies on the Mona Campus in Kingston Jamaica.
